Further to this Biwakango’s approach is to take into consideration environmental awarness due to the fact that the nature of tourism activities can have negative impacts on the environment. We strive all the time to mitigate these impacts by:
- Keeping our group sizes as small as possible ( a maximum of 10 people).
- Collaborating with accommodation providers which value good practices (solid waste management, sewage management, water consumption,etc) as well as involving the local communities in their operations.
- Informing our customers about environmental awarness and applying good practice.
- Recommending discoveries by means of harmless mode of transportation (walking, canoeing…ect).
