Day by day...
Day 1: Windhoek…
Welcome by your guide at Windhoek airport. Overnight in a Guest House in Windhoek. This first day will give us the opportunity to talk about the tour and to get to know one another.

Days 2-3: Namib desert…
Today we set off for the Namib desert to Sesriem. Overnight in a lodge (or camping in Sesriem depending on option). Day2 we will climb a dune and enjoy the sunset over the Namib. Day3 we visit Sossususvlei and Dead Vlei, mainly on foot.

Day 4: Swakopmund…
We continue to Swakopmund passing through Walvis Bay to see the flamingoes. Overnight at Sam’s Giardino guesthouse (or equivalent) in Swakopmund.

Day 5: Brandberg - White Lady…
Today our journey takes us to Damaraland, which streches 200kms west of the Skeleton Coast, south of Koakoland. We reach the brandberg Mountains, which with its peak at 2573m represents the highest point in Namibia. The Brandberg is famous for hikers but also for its huge amount of bushmen (san) paintings, amongst which is the best known White-Lady. We will take a walk to see it (about 2 hours return). Overnight in bungalows at White Lady Lodge.

Day 6: Damaraland - Twyfelfontein…
Early morning walk along the Ugab river in search of the wildife with the chance to spot the elusive desert adapted elephants. Then we depart to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO world heritage site, to visit what is problably the best rock engraving (petroglyph) site of all Africa! We then
visit a Damara cultural village to learn about the ancestral traditions and cultures of these friendly people. Overnight in Palmwag lodge (camping or bungalow).Base FI
Day 7-8: Kaokoland - Puros…
This morning we take a walk on the Pamlwag concession. Then we depart to Koakoland, towards the Skeleton Coast. The landscape en route to Puros is remote, prisitine and breathtaking! We camp for 2 nights along the Hoarusib dry river bed. The Puros valley is captivating. This is one of the best place in Namibia to spot desert adapted wildlife and in particular black rhinos and elephants and even lions (no garanty though). D8 we explore the area on foot with the hope to spot game.

Day 9: Kaokoland - Damaraland …
We leave Puros via (if conditions permit) Puros canyon and through the Hoarusib and Hoanib river beds. We have a chance to spot elephants... Overnight in Khowarib lodge (camping or bungalow).

Days 10-11: Kaokoland – Epupa Falls…
We set off for the extreme noth of the Kaokoland all the way to the Kunene river which marks the border with Angola. We are in the heart of the Himbas territory and we camp 2 nights in Epupa Camp, situated along the Kunene river. We visit Epupa Falls. We also visit a local Himba village and learn about the unique culture of this charismatic tribe. We will also take a walk along the Kunene river.

Day 12: En route to Etosha…
We drive back down and overnight in Hobatere, west of Etosha.

Days 13-14: Etosha National Park…
Continuation to Etosha National Park. Etosha National Park is the largest park in the country and is most famous for its waterholes which offer great game sightings. Overnight in bungalow or camping depending on option.

Day 15: Etosha - Windhoek…
We leave Etosha and drive back to Windhoek where you'll be dropped off at the airport. End of service.
