Day by day

Days 1-2: Sossusvlei Lodge...

Upon arrival in Windhoek, you transfer by light aircraft to Sossusvlei, located in the heart of the Namib Desert. Overnight at Sossusvlei Wilderness Lodge, which offers a breathtaking view over the dune landscape. Sossusvlei has nine luxurious chalets - all en-suite.
Activities include 4x4 trips and walks in the dunes. We can also arrange a hot air balloon trip over the Namib for you (optional).

Days 3-4: Damaraland Camp...

Today we transfer by light aircraft to Damaraland where we overnight at Damaraland camp. This camp consists of luxury tents (all en-suite) and faces the Brandberg Mountains, which house a number of Bushman paintings. This is an ideal place for spotting desert elephant and black rhino. Activities include a 4x4 safari and game walks (rhino tracking!).

Days 5-7: Serra Cafema

Light aircraft transfer to Serra Cafema. This one of the most remote camps of Southern Africa, situated at the extreme north of Namibia on the border with Angola. Serra Cafema camp is built on the banks of the Kunene River, which brings an oasis of life to an otherwise barren desert. Overnight, in the luxury of your en-suite chalet as you overlook the Kunene River.

This is the territory of Nama people, semi-nomadic tribes of herders who live in the desert - far from the modern world and in total harmony with nature. Activities include 4x4 safaris, game walks, quad biking, a motor boat trip on the Kunene and visit to a Himba community.

Day 8: Serra Cafema - Windhoek

After breakfast and your final morning activity in Serra Cafema, we fly to Windhoek where the tour ends
