The oldest desert in the world ...

Namibia • 8 days on site

In this maze of ochre-coloured sand dunes, the wind is an artist, shaping ephemeral sandy monuments. Those who believe the Namib Desert is lifeless will be amazed once they start exploring the area. Animal tracks pattern the sand and if you scan this singular landscape carefully, you might spot a gemsbok who has already been watching us for a while.
Our tour traverses the desert where you will feel welcome in picturesque, luxurious camps, built at the feet of the Sossusvlei dunes or on the green banks of the Kunene River. On a quad bike, in a 4x4, on foot or in a boat, you are invited to discover the hidden treasures of this vast and desolate country and to meet its proud peoples; the Damara, Nama and Himba, who have succeeded in some way in taming “giant” and who walk its plains with respect and pride.
