Then, we transfer by plane to Mana Pools where we stay for 5 nights. The most exciting part being without any doubt the 3 days canoeing safari on the Zambezi. Paddling down the Zambezi river along Mana Pools National Parks shoreline, you will be able to observe iconic wildlife including elephants, hippos, crocodiles as well as many antelopes and birds. In the evening, we set up camp and revel in the night-time chorus of African wildlife from the warm atmosphere of a campfire.

Days 5-7: Mana Pools: canoeing the Zambezi river

Flight transfer to Mana Pool. Mana Pools is one of the most magical park of Africa and this is no surprise it was one of the first to be declared a UNESCO site. During the next three days, we paddle down the Zambezi River in stable Canadian-style canoes. We carry all the camping equipment with us in order to be completely autonomous. We camp on islands or on the bank and dinners are taken around the campfire, under the stars with the sound of the african bush surrounding us!
